Lynn’D Farms has relocated!
We are pleased to announce that we now have two new locations: Auburntown, Tennessee and Cashiers, North Carolina. Our time in Florida was invaluable, but our move has allowed us to take on fewer horses, and to give the ones we have more individual attention. Additionally, we have over 100 acres of pasture available, we cut and produce our own hay, and have a much milder climate and more varied terrain, all of which the horses love. Steven and Anne Duchac's combined experience allows them to work with all types of horses, from babies to those in higher level competition, and to help riders of all skill levels from beginner to advanced. While we strive to make every horse we train as rideable and correct as possible, we do this while keeping in mind the individual needs of the owner. In other words, we try to make your horse as good as possible for you! We encourage you to be an integral part of the training process by watching and participating whenever possible. At Lynn'D Farms, the training that we do with your horse is important, but what you can do with him is far more important. Our primary focus is what you can accomplish when you take your horse home, go to a show, or out on a trail ride.
Steven and Anne have very different backgrounds - Steven is a John Lyons Certified Trainer and has studied the Parelli system through Level 4, and Anne has spent the bulk of her time concentrating on eventing and dressage - but they both believe that kindness, consistency, and clarity are the most effective tools in horse training. Between them, they have handled literally thousands of horses of all shapes and sizes. They have started horses for pleasure riders who want to have fun and be safe on the trail, they've taught new riders the skills and confidence to begin showing successfully, and helped seasoned competitors improve their performance or overcome problems that were holding them back. They also regularly work with other professionals in the dressage, reining, cowhorse, hunter/jumper, and racing industries who need help with some of their more challenging horses.
